What Happens if I Need to Cancel a Guest’s Booking?

If you cancel a guest's booking, you will either receive no payout or will have your payout reduced by the amount of money refunded to the guest. You will also be required to provide enough information on why you are canceling the stay as this will determine if you will receive a partial payout or no payout.

How Do I Receive a Refund After a Reservation Is Canceled?

Triply has the following cancelation procedures:

  • If the reservation is canceled 48 hours or less before check-in, or after check-in, the amount to be refunded is 50% of the reservation amount for the nights not stayed.

  • If the reservation is canceled more than 48 hours, and 30 days or less, before check-in, the fee is 25% of the reservation amount.

  • If the reservation is canceled more than 30 days before check-in, the fee is 10% of the reservation amount.

Therefore, refunds issued due to canceled reservations are issued as per the cancelation policy that applies to that canceled reservation.

What Happens if a Host Cancels a Booking Before Check-In?

If a host cancels a reservation right before check-in, guests will automatically receive a full refund. If a host cancels 30 days or less before check-in, and a guest contacts Triply, we will help you find comparable or better accommodations.
